We are looking for a part-time pharmacy technician. The work environment is friendly and fast-paced. We are open 5 days a week (Monday - Friday). Must be a licensed pharmacy technician under the State of California Board of Pharmacy. Candidate must have at least 1 full year of pharmacy technician experience particularly in a retail setting.

Job Duties (include but are not limited to): - Answering questions and requests from provider offices and patients - Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.- Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities- Maintains records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions.- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Physical demands of the job include being able to: - Stand for long periods.- Lift and push or pull up to 10 pounds.
