Select LTC Pharmacy is the fastest growing provider of hospice pharmacy services in Southern California, specializing in the prompt delivery of medications and medical supplies to individuals under the care of hospice services. We are looking for a supervisor to lead out front end staff, including our team of pharmacy technicians focused on data entry. In addition to supervising and providing leadership and accountability to the team, this individual will be responsible for processing prescriptions, monitoring and prioritizing the medication dispensing workflow, handling rejected claims/third party adjudication, and ensuring that orders are processed timely based on delivery timelines. Interdepartmental collaboration skills are a must; this role requires ongoing communication with the processing/data entry, triage, and fill teams, as well as with management and hospice clients.

This position requires excellent data entry skills and attention to detail, knowledge of medications and pharmacy supplies, great customer service both over the phone and via electronic/text messaging, and a high level of professionalism and collaboration. Previous supervisory or management experience will be required. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospice and/or long-term care (LTC) setting. QS1 and Docutrack experience is required for this role.

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to manage a highly functioning team experiencing consistent growth while balancing the need for continuous improvement and consistent feedback.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and presentation software
  • Spoken and written fluency in English
