Description
La Vita Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a highly qualified individual for a pharmacy technician position. This candidate must adhere with all California State Board of Pharmacy Laws and have a license in good standing with the California Board.
The qualified pharmacy technician must be highly motivated and aligned with La Vita's mission, vision and core values. We are looking for technicians who really care about the patient and patient care. A firm knowledge of basic pharmacy math is desired along with excellent communication and computer skills. The qualified individual will excel in customer service and must have the ability to thrive in a team environment. We are looking for happy, motivated individuals who want to grow in their career!
The qualified pharmacy technician's duties may include but aren't limited to:
- Typing new prescriptions
- Billing prescriptions
- Answering phones
- Mail room
- Faxing
- Customer service
- Assisting in the compounding lab filling prescriptions or compounding medications
**Experience not required but a willingness to do what it takes to learn is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $23.67 per hour
